Illustration Friday - Suspense

In my sketchbook, still trying my new acrylic gouache paints.
I find them a bit difficult to master, being more used to the transparencies of watercolor.
The Matrioshkas are inspired by delyo, whose drawings I admire a lot.
Suspense is opening a matrioshka and finding the one nesting in it.

Sometimes  a news item is particularly striking.
This one I found both funny and strange.
